My response to a competition brief set by YCN.
Create an imaginary packaging range for Google’s family of products. More explanation on my blog

my entry for the D&AD Student Illustrator Awards…I guess I’m allowed to submit this now because the contest entry date is over. Currently working on my website but check out my blog for more of my work.
An image of my final piece created for the YCN competition.
I chose Fedrigoni, a paper manufacturer who create specialist papers. The brief was essentially to create a campaign that promoted their imaginative colours range of specialist papers.
I wanted to create something that was interactive, and appealed to creative individuals, but had an ephemeral quality to it that meant the design would keep the packaging. The theme of my piece is ‘Celebrate Colour’.
Although Fedrigoni is a paper manufacturer and the tactile and physical object plays a huge part in my concept, I did want to branch out into ‘new’ media and create an application for a smart phone where by you can share your creations made from my sample pack.
Hopefully I win, the chances are slim but we can dream!
Celebrate Colour. #Celebratecolour
‘Gaming Takes Over The World’ by Bryony Sammons (click for behance) created for a Don’t Panic competition (which you can vote for by logging in via facebook here, I would really appreciate it if you did this, I need to stay in the top 10 just to be seen by the judges!) This is a full vector piece, which is completely designed by me on illustrator CS5.
